Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Nursing Home and Home Bound Ministry
The Extraordinary Ministers to the home bound take the Eucharist to those unable to attend services at the parish such as the elderly, or disabled. Volunteers also reach out to the residents of the Coral Trace and Woodlands Nursing Homes with Communion visits and weekly rosary and prayer. Once per month a priest will accompany them to hold a Mass at the Nursing Home and the volunteers help with the Mass. For more information please contact the Parish Office.
Gift Shop
The gift shop offers a variety of books, Bibles, sacramental gift items, rosaries, wall crucifixes and crosses, jewelry, statuary, music and other religious articles. We also carry special items during Advent and Lent. The gift shop is open before and after Mass on Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers work in the gift shop in one-hour shifts for as little as once per month. It is a wonderful way to serve our community and meet fellow parishioners.
Respect Life
The Respect Life Ministry focuses on life and death issues involving the beginning of life, end of life, the death penalty, and legislative action on the parish, diocesan, state and national levels. Our parish respect life volunteers help to bring diocesan and national information to the parish and organize informational sessions and prayer opportunities.
