Sometimes we simply need someone to stand with us in prayer.
The Saint Katharine Drexel Prayer Team Ministry offers parishioners an opportunity to do just that – to bring their needs, concerns, hopes, and desires for healing to Jesus in a personal time of prayer – to encounter the Lord and experience His healing touch for their lives and the lives of those they love.
Our Prayer Team Ministers are not there to solve problems or find perfect words. We are there to be present, to listen, to invite the Holy Spirit to come and be with us, and to help each person turn toward Jesus and receive His love and grace.
The purpose of the Saint Katharine Drexel Prayer Ministry Team is to bring others into an intimate relationship with God, inviting them to experience a beautiful time of prayer.
What Can I Expect?
You will be welcomed by two Prayer Team Ministers. They will ask your name, invite the Holy Spirit to come, and invite you to bring your prayer request directly to Jesus. There will be a time of silence to allow the Lord to bless you and speak to your heart. Words of encouragement and God’s healing love may be offered for you and those you love.
