Often times in life we have to look for a home. A parish is that home. That place which impacts people's lives and gives them a sense of belonging.
It is in a parish where we receive the Body and the Blood of Christ. It is in a parish where we listen to the Word of God being proclaimed. It is in a parish where we find forgiveness, communal support and ways to give life to our faith. The Parish is a living, breathing organism because it is God Himself who interacts with his people.
We hope that this will be your experience at Saint Katharine Drexel and that you will find a home here in a spiritually and emotionally nourishing environment. As you become more acquainted with us, we hope that you will feel called to an apostolate or ministry in which to share time and talent with our Parish family.
We are filled with joy and excitement that you are with us. Please know that you can always come to us if you have questions or would like to know more information about your new home.
On behalf of the Parish Leadership Team, welcome to our parish family, the family of Mother Drexel. We are happy and honored that you chose to become a member of this Christian community. God bless!
United in the Eucharist,
Father Ricky M. Varner
